Perez sets fastest time in morning session on final day of F1 test days

The Mexican Sergio Perez (Red Bull) set the fastest time on Sunday morning in the morning session of the third and also the last test day for the new F1 season.

At the Sakhir circuit in Bahrain, the newcomer at Red Bull put 1’30 ”187 on the tables, 0.299 faster than the Monegask Charles Leclerc (Ferrari). The third fastest time came in the name of the Briton Lando Norris (McLaren).

The last test session is scheduled for Sunday afternoon. Each racing stable may only send one car onto the track per session. The F1 season kicks off on Sunday, March 28 in Bahrain. (belga)
