McLaren continues longer with Lando Norris, who is aiming for world title in F1

Lando Norris has signed a new “multi-year” contract with McLaren. The Formula 1 team has announced this. The 21-year-old Belgian Briton says he is aiming for the world title in the coming years.

McLaren has had Norris under his wing since 2017. He has been racing in F1 since 2019. This season he already impressed with, among other things, third place in the Grand Prix of Emilia-Romagna.

“After five years, I really feel like part of the family and can’t really imagine continuing my career with another team,” said Norris. “McLaren has always supported me and my ambitions for the future are also clear: I want to win races at McLaren and become world champion.”

Norris forms a duo with the Australian Daniel Ricciardo at McLaren.
