The Volkswagen ID.3 Pro S comes standard with a 204 hp electric motor, with which it sprints from standstill to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. It can fast charge with 125 kW, which means that it is 80 percent full again in 38 minutes. And that makes it slightly faster than the ID.3 Pro (120 kW) and much faster than the ID.3 Pure (50 kW). In comparison: the upcoming Renault Mégane E-Tech Electric will reach 160 kW. The Hyundai Ioniq 5, comparable to the Volkswagen ID.4, even has up to 220 kW.
With its 77 kWh battery, the Volkswagen ID.3 Pro S can reach a maximum distance of 553 kilometers. The other versions of the ID.3 – the Pure and the Pro – reach 349 and 426 kilometers respectively. For the ID.3, Volkswagen offers a choice of seven colors, of which Makuna Turquoise (950 euros) and Kings Red (950 euros) are the only striking ones. For 490 euros extra you can take an exterior package, with silver or copper accents.
Volkswagen equips the ID.3 Pro S with automatic climate control, the Discover Pro navigation system, 19-inch alloy wheels, mood lighting with 30 colors, a heated steering wheel and a Style interior package. The Volkswagen ID.3 Pro S is available from 41,390 euros. It is therefore 4200 euros more expensive than the Volkswagen ID.3 Pro with 204 hp and 58 kWh battery pack.
