Alfa Romeo longer in the sea with F1 racing stable Sauber

Alfa Romeo will also remain active in Formula 1 in the coming years. The Italian brand has extended its collaboration with racing stable Sauber. An agreement was reached for “several years”, Alfa Romeo reported on Wednesday.

Alfa Romeo returned to Formula 1 in 2018 as a partner of Sauber. A year later, the team was also renamed Alfa Romeo Racing.

The Italian Antonio Giovinazzi and the Finn Kimi Raikkonen are the pilots of Alfa Romeo this year. In the World Cup standings, the team is eighth (out of ten teams) after nine Grands Prix. The tenth Grand Prix will be held on Sunday in Silverstone, England.
