Stoffel Vandoorne (Mercedes-EQ) took pole on Sunday during qualifying for the second London ePrix, the thirteenth (out of fifteen) World Cup round of the season. Vandoorne was faster than the British Oliver Rowland (Nissan e.Dams) and Alex Lynn (Mahindra Racing). The race on Sunday starts at 3 p.m.
In the last free practice on Sunday morning, Vandoorne had set the eighteenth time.
On Saturday, Vandoorne finished eighth in the first London ePrix, which was won by Briton Jake Dennis (BMW i Andretti). He collected 4 points and is currently fourteenth in the World Cup standings with 58 points, with 23 points less than British leader Sam Bird (Jaguar).
The last two World Cup rounds will take place in Berlin on August 14 and 15.
