Rally pilot Thierry Neuville is released after crash in ravine, co-driver injured

Thierry Neuville and Martijn Wydaeghe crashed into a ravine during a test drive in Labastide-Rouairoux. THE Hyundai i20 looked bad, luckily there was no damage at Thierry Neuville. Co-pilot Martijn Wydaeghe had to be taken to hospital with a rescue helicopter.

Neuville and Wydaeghe were testing the vehicle under extreme weather conditions. Hyundai Motorsport responded on Twitter, reassuring everyone that nothing too serious is going on. Wydaeghe’s shoulder injury must be monitored further.
