Lewis Hamilton sells exclusive sports car for 10 million euros
It is still silent on social media, but Lewis Hamilton is said to have sold one of his exclusive sports cars, at least according to the car magazine ‘Quattroruote’.
Hamilton has an extensive car collection, but the seven-time F1 champion stated in an interview with ‘Reuters’ in 2020 that he would no longer drive his petrol-guzzling sports cars.
Hamilton also wants to be driven to the various circuits in an electric car. After all, Hamilton wants to reduce his ecological footprint and previously sold his private jet.
Painful for Hamilton, however, was that he was still spotted in Monaco last year driving his exclusive Pagani Zonda 760. Hamilton received a lot of criticism for that and it does not seem to have fallen on deaf ears.
According to the car magazine ‘Quattroruote’, Hamilton would have sold his purple Pagani Zonda 760 for a sloppy 10 million euros. Seven years ago, the car was custom-made and Hamilton paid around 1.5 million euros. Only five of the Pagani Zonda 760 were made worldwide.
However, it looks like the empty space in Hamilton’s garage would soon be refilled. This year will see the launch of the AMG Project ONE, an exclusive sports car with an F1 engine. Normally such an engine lasts about 4,000 kilometers, but in the AMG Project ONE the engine should last at least 50,000 kilometers.
275 copies of the AMG Project ONE will be built and the price is a staggering 2.5 million euros.
