Jago Geerts is third in MX2 during GP of Portugal

Jago Geerts (Yamaha) finished third in the Grand Prix of Portugal in the MX2 class on Sunday.

At the Agueda circuit, where the fourth round of the World Cup took place, he finished ninth in the first heat and won the second. The GP victory went to Frenchman Tom Vialle (KTM). He beat Dane Mikkel Haarup (Kawasaki).

In the World Cup standings, Geerts remains the leader with 174 points ahead of Vialle (158 points). Haarup (132 points) is third.
