Chrysler PT Cruiser Convertible (2004 – 2010)

They sometimes call the Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet the breadbasket, but the Chrysler PT Cruiser Convertible may have even more right to that name. The shameless retro design of the American MPV has not withstood the test of time. The PT Cruiser looks cheap, feels cheap and is cheap. For a second-hand copy you pay between 3000 and 5000 euros. The chrome-plated alloy wheels are typical American bad taste.

Mitsubishi Colt CZC

Twenty years ago you could still buy a convertible for relatively little money. The Peugeot 206 CC, for example, or the Nissan Micra C+C. They are both ugly, but in a way they have character. And we can’t say that about the Mitsubishi Colt CZC. It combines the bizarre proportions of a small coupé-convertible with an aura of fervent meaninglessness.

Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet (2010 – 2014)

Try making a success of a convertible SUV. Land Rover failed, with the Range Rover Evoque Convertible. Volkswagen has trouble with it, with the T-Roc Convertible. And Nissan went completely wrong with it. The Murano CrossCabriolet was therefore not to be overlooked, with strange proportions and a c-pillar that seems to have been cut off halfway.

Peugeot 308CC

We’re really going to put it here: we think the Peugeot 307 CC is a beautiful convertible, especially in the dark red introduction color. His successor, on the other hand… Nondeju, what a monstrosity! The 308 CC combines the worst of Peugeot’s big-pelvic days with the completely skewed proportions of a coupé-convertible. There is nothing wrong with the design of this car. Nothing.

Renault Wind

You can only have respect for Renault. The penny counters in Paris must have known that the Vel Satis, Avantime and Wind would mercilessly flop, but they still give the green light for production. heroes! If you still drive a Vel Satis or Avantime now, you’re cool. Are you moving in a Renault Wind? Well, then you have guts. Because such a mini-roadster with ‘supercar’ looks looks a bit silly.
