It’s special how your brain works, because at the first sight of the facelifted set of Dacias, Super Mario Bros 3 shot through our heads. The game was released in Europe in 1990 on the Nintendo Entertainment System, the NES, to acclaim from fans and game press alike. But what does that have to do with Dacia?

New Dacia logo was already presented at the end of 2021

Anyway, now that you’ve seen the agreement, you can no longer ignore it. So sorry about that. Because the new logo of Dacia makes the models of the Romanian budget brand a lot more recognizable. The logo was introduced as early as October 2021, but has not yet been applied to the cars. That is now changing.

Dacia logo is ‘a link in a chain’

Dacia does the whole thing right away: the electric Spring, the Sandero and Sandero Stepway, the Jogger and the Duster. They all have the new Link logo on the front. The pattern in the grille should remind you of a chain, with the ‘spanner’ in the middle as a connecting link. The logo depicts the letters D and C and replaces the time-honored ‘bottle opener’.

New color and also changes to the dashboard

What else is different about the updated Dacia models? They all now have the brand name written on the boot lid, as is the trend these days, and on the steering wheel. Dacia also introduces a new color (the green in the photos). The dashboard has been changed in details: the air vents, the button layout and the infotainment system.
