Mercedes warns the competition: “More is on the way!”

The Mercedes F1 team finished the first half of the season strongly with a double podium place in Hungary. The competition has also been warned, Mercedes expects to perform even stronger during the second half of the season.

“There’s more on the way,” Andrew Shovlin said in a video posted by Mercedes after the Hungarian GP.

“We’re trying to bring even more performance to Spa and hopefully we’ll close the gap, we’re not that far away. We will continue to develop our car a little further.”

The momentum is with Mercedes, everyone in the team can see that after the very difficult start of the season, progress is finally being made.

“We are very excited, the past races have been our best of the season and we hope we can take that extra step forward. We definitely want to win races so we are working very hard to achieve that.”
