Mick Schumacher: “I would like to show what I can do in the Ferrari F1 car”

In addition to being a Haas F1 driver, Mick Schumacher is also a reserve driver at Ferrari. Schumacher says he would be only too happy to step into the Ferrari F1 car to show what he is capable of.

In recent days there has been a lot of talk about the Haas F1 car, which after a major update would look even more like Ferrari’s F1 car. According to Mick Schumacher, the cars do differ.

Schumacher himself is also linked to Ferrari and his future is under discussion after a mixed season so far, as well as developments in the driver market in recent days. Switching to Ferrari is not immediately possible in the short term, but filling in if something happens to one of the two drivers is a possibility.

“Yes, I am,” Schumacher replies when asked by ‘RaceFans’ if he feels ready to fill in for Sainz or Leclerc. “Our cars are not the same, but they are similar.”

“I have actually continued to grow under the wings of Ferrari since 2019. I feel like I’ve mastered the entire procedure so I’d be more than happy to fill in and show what I can do.”
