Formula E colleague lashes out at Nyck de Vries: “I hope he doesn’t make it to F1! Fucking idiot!”

During the last race of the Formula E season, there was an incident between Dutchman Nyck de Vries and Pascal Wehrlein. The latter then lashed out hard at his colleague.

Unlike in Formula 1, we see in Formula E that more often cars drive with the wheels against each other, or wheel banging. Also during the last race it happened between Nyck de Vries and Pascal Wehrlein. Both drivers then had to give up but it was mainly Wehrlein who then verbally lashed out at Nyck de Vries in frustration.

“I hope he doesn’t make it to F1!” shouted a frustrated Wehrlein over the onboard radio. “What a fucking idiot!”

Ultimately, Nyck de Vries was found guilty and the Dutchman was given a five-second time penalty. That made no difference to de Vries, however, as he had already given up in the pits. That will undoubtedly have only increased the frustration at Wehrlein.
