Jago Geerts (22) has been on the final podium of the MX2 World Championship three times, but never on the highest step. In the past two years, the Balenaar became vice world champion, in 2021 behind Frenchman Maxime Renaux and in 2020 behind Tom Vialle. In 2019 he already finished third behind the Spaniard Jorge Prado and the Dane Thomas Kjaer Olsen.
